Common Queries Answered
What do I need to bring for the massage?
You don’t need to bring anything with you for your massage. All the materials necessary for your treatment will be provided and are, of course, included in the price. Just make sure you bring enough time to enjoy your stay with us.
What should you keep in mind when visiting Gen Real?
It is mandatory for our guests to remove their shoes before entering the massage area. Out of consideration for all clients and staff present, we ask that you refrain from using your phone and turn off your cell phone while at Baan Sabai.
In accordance with COVID-19 hygiene regulations, it is still mandatory for every client to wear a face mask and to disinfect their hands or wash them thoroughly with soap before the massage. Please ensure you maintain a distance of 1.5 meters from other guests.
How much time should I plan for the visit?
To ensure a calm and relaxed start, we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early for your treatment. After the treatment, please take some time for a glass of water or a cup of tea to allow the massage to take effect.
Will I be massaged by a woman or a man?
Baan Sabai employs only female masseuses.
Are Baan Sabai's massages reputable?
We offer exclusively professional, high-quality massages from certified masseuses. Traditional Thai massage, in particular, is a massage technique handed down over millennia and possesses a high cultural significance. We do not offer erotic massages in our establishment. Management reserves the right to report telephone or in-person inquiries, as well as immoral behavior with a sexually harassing character, in accordance with Section 185 of the German Criminal Code (StGB), and, if necessary, issue a ban from the premises.
What clothing should be removed during the massage?
Thai massages:
Thai massages are performed fully clothed. We provide comfortable cotton clothing.
Full body massages:
Before the massage begins, all clothing except underwear must be removed. The intimate area remains covered at all times during the treatment.
Can I leave my valuables with you?
We do not have a safe for guests and assume no liability for your valuables. You are, of course, welcome to bring your valuables into the massage room.
Is the massage duration as long as stated?
The duration of your massage includes the time required for dressing and undressing. We ask for your understanding; if a guest ahead of you takes a little longer to change, we will wait patiently until the room is free. We always strive to make the massage beds as quickly as possible and prepare everything necessary for the next treatment. Should you arrive late for your appointment, we reserve the right, in consultation with you, to shorten the massage if necessary to ensure that subsequent appointments are not delayed.
Do I absolutely need an appointment?
Since we have fewer appointments available per day due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ask you to reserve your preferred appointment time. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for Fridays and Saturdays, before public holidays, and if you would like a couples massage. We try to accommodate spontaneous requests, but unfortunately, this is often not possible under the current circumstances. The sooner you reserve, the easier it is for us to accommodate your requests!
What should I do if I can't keep an appointment?
Please notify us by phone or email as far in advance as possible, but no later than four hours before your appointment. Please keep in mind that your masseuse and the room will be reserved especially for you. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows without prior notice will result in double our loss of earnings, as we will then be unable to offer the appointments to other guests. For no-shows without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the price.
Are there parking spaces?
Your wellness oasis is just a few meters from the parking garages at Cinestar, Fort Malakoff, and the Roman Theater. Additional parking spaces are available on Neutorstrasse, Holzhofstrasse, and Grebenstrasse.
Alternatively, you can easily and conveniently reach us by train, as the Römisches Theater station is just a few minutes’ walk away, as are the Alstadt/Holzhof, Römisches Theater, and Holzturm/Malakoff-Passage bus stops. Bicycle parking is available directly in front of the store
